Flying Duo
This piece is based on Azerbaijan female aviator, Zuleykha Seyidmammadova. She was the first female pilot to fly in combat for her country. Even though qualified as a petrochemical engineer she chose to focus on aviation. She was highly decorated for her military efforts. After World War II ended she became the Minster of Social Security of the Azerbaijan SSR. Here her copilot is pictured in pink.
